WooCommerce® lacked the essential cannabis-specific product details that dispensaries needed. Lab results, strain information, effects, and medical benefits – none of it was natively supported.
At the time, I sold the plugin as part of my work with CannaBiz Software, helping dispensaries and cannabis retailers add much-needed functionality to their online stores.
But the reality of the cannabis industry, especially when it comes to selling software, has been a challenge.
I was de-banked before it was cool 🤷♂️
